Cheeseburger and chips that did exactly what it said on the tin. Nothing crazy, nothing disappointing — just a straight-up good feed. Burger had flavour, chips held their own, and together it made for a very safe, satisfying meal.

Bit of a mixed bag. The burger itself was average at best, chips were too potato-heavy (more farmyard than fry), and the service didn’t help the mood. Weirdly, Phoebe’s salad was the highlight, which probably says it all. To top it off, had to pay extra for ketchup and water — both of which cost more than the beer. That alone is a crime.
